The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Industries on Tuesday discussed in detail the current status of the Bangladesh Patent Bill, 2021 and Boiler Bill, 2021 finalization.
They also discussed various projects of boiler and Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC) located in all industrial cities under Khulna Qureshi Steel, Dhaka Steel Mill, Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC).
The committee made the discussion at its 10th meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with committee Chairman Amir Hossain Amu in the chair.
Committee members Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder, AKM Fazlul Haque, Mohammad Shahiduzzaman, Kajim Uddin Ahmmed, Shafiqul Islam and Parvin Haque joined the meeting, said an official press release.
The meeting recommended placing the Bangladesh Patent Bill, 2021 and Boiler Bill, 2021 before Jatiya Sangsad after finalization.
