Leaders of Awami Jubo League (AJL) distributed over 1.5 lakh winter clothes among the cold-hit people across the country at the beginning of winter this year just like the previous years.
On November 21 last year, the Jubo League Chairman, Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash inaugurated the organisation's winter clothes distribution programme by distributing clothes to 1,000 cold-riven destitutes in Jashore.
On the occasion of the golden jubilee of Jubo League, a seven-member golden jubilee celebration committee led by its convener, Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Nixon distributed 4,000 clothes in Dinajpur, 2,000 in Panchagarh, 2,000 in Nilphamari and 4,000 in Thakurgaon in mid-January this year.
The youth wing of the ruling party also distributed winter clothes in other districts across the country.
