Justice Bhabani Prasad Singha to retire on July 24

High Court Justice Bhabani Prasad Singha is set to retire on Friday (July 24) after completing a long successful judicial career.

Bhabani Prasad Singha got appointment as an Additional Judge to the High Court Division of the Supreme Court on December 12, 2010.

On December 12, 2012, he was appointed as a permanent judge.

Before being appointment, he worked as Dean to the Faculty of law at Premier University, Chattogram.

At the last working day of the High Court on Thursday, Supreme Court Bar Council Association and Attorney General office arranged a virtual farewell for the Justice.

Among others, Supreme Court Bar Association President Advocate AM Aminuddin, Secretary Barrister Ruhul Kuddus Kajal, Attorney General Mahbubey Alal discussed the glorious life of the retired justice at the farewell.

On March 3, 1979, Bhabani Prasad enrolled as an Advocate of the District court. He joined the Judicial Service as Munsif on April 4, 1983. Later he was promoted as District and Sessions Judge on February 24, 2000.
