A Kazakh national was killed in a car accident inside the Rooppur Powerplant at 11:00am on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Konirbiv Bauerjan, 35.
Bauerjan came to Bangladesh on September 15, 2019 to work with Nikimath. He was working as an install engineer for the company.
Acting Officer-in-Charge of Ishwardi police station Asaduzzaman Asad confirmed the matter and said Bauerjan was rushed to the upazila health complex after the accident. Reaching there, the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
The body was sent to Pabna Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
