Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday forecasted light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Jashore in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00am on Wednesday.
"Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Jashore in 24-hour till 9:00am on Thursday," said a met office bulletin issued here this morning.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Light to moderate fog may occur at several places over the country from midnight to morning, the bulletin added.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and the day temperature may fall by 1-3 degrees Celsius over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar in the Chattogram division and the minimum temperature on Wednesday was 11.0 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in the Sylhet division.
On Wednesday the sun will set at 5:20pm and on Thursday sun will rise at 6:40am in Dhaka.
