Rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing 9am Monday.
"Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning," it added.
Night temperature may rise by (1-2) degrees Celsius and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 29.2 degrees Celsius at Mongla while today's minimum temperature 10.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sayedpur.
The sun sets at 5:47pm Monday and rises at 6:37am Tuesday in the capital.
