Light rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over three southern divisions-- Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram.
"Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am Monday.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius at Chattogram and today's minimum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
Night temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and Day temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius over the country, it added.
The Cyclonic Storm "Michaung" (pronunciation: Migjaum) over the Southwest Bay and the adjoining areas moved North-Northwestwards and now lies over the West Central Bay of Bengal and the adjoining areas (near Lat: 13.3oN & Long: 81.1oE) at 6am Monday.
It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and intensify further.
