Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over the country, a met release said on Monday.
Day temperature may fall by (2-4) degrees Celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, said the met forecast.
The country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 33.0 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar while the minimum temperature on Monday was recorded 17.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am Monday, was recorded 40 millimetres (mm) at Netrokona.
