Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours until 9:00am on Monday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country,” Met office said.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajsthan, Harayana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.
One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderates over North Bay.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
