Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country, Met Office said.

The axis of monsoon trough runs through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 32.0 degree Celsius at Sylhet and the minimum temperature today was recorded 23.3 degree Celsius at Madaripur.
The maximum rainfall over the last 24 hours till 6:00am Sunday was recorded 111 millimetres (mm) at Gopalganj.
