Two people were killed by lightning strike on Thursday during a storm at Babu Dying area in Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila.
The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman, 60 and Mesbaul Haque,45.
Witnesses said Mesbaul was collecting mangoes and Abdur Rahman was cooking while the thunderbolt struck them, leaving them dead on the spot.
After recovering the bodies, locals handed them over to their families, ward-8 councilor of Chapainawabganj municipality Abdul Barque said.
