The government has extended an ongoing countrywide lockdown for another week until June 6 midnight to curb the spread of coronavirus infections.
The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification on Sunday in this regard.
During this extended lockdown, inter-district public transports will continue to operate with half the capacities.
Hotels and food outlets will also continue catering to half their seating arrangements.
All the other restrictions are also to be followed as per the previous gazette notification issued on May 23, reads the latest notification.
The ongoing lockdown is scheduled to expire on Sunday midnight.
