The ongoing lockdown restrictions are to be relaxed in phases after August 11, said Farhad Hossain, state minister for public administration on Sunday.
"Further decision in this regard will be announced soon," added the minister.
Bangladesh is currently under a strict lockdown that came into effect on July 23. It was due to end on August 5.
However, considering the worsening Covid-19 pandemic situation, the lockdown was extended till August 10.
