A man and his seven-month-old daughter were killed and two others injured in a landslide caused by heavy rains in the Sholoshahar area of Chattogram city on Sunday morning.
The deceased are Md Sohel, 35, and Bibi Jannat, residents of IW Colony.
Deputy Assistant Director Abdullah Harun Pasha of Bayezid fire service station said they rescued four people from the spot and sent them to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).
Nurul Alam Asheq, in-charge of the CMCH police outpost, said the four people sustained injuries in the landslide, while two of them were declared dead by physicians.
