A Dengue patient died in Khulna Medical College Hospital on Sunday.
The deceased, identified as Raju, 35, died at the hospital's Dengue unit at around 3:30am.
Raju was admitted to the hospital on August 4.
Confirming the matter, the unit's spokesman Dr Utpal Chadra said, "Eight patients had been admitted in the unit with dengue since August 1. Seven have recovered and left the hospital."
