Police in a drive arrested a drug peddler with 11 kgs of ganja from Chunarughat Upazila of the district on Sunday.
The detained was identified as Umel Karmokar, 22.
Police said they conducted the raid upon receiving information in the Chaklapunji Tea Garden area and held Umel with the ganja.
He was sent to jail by a court order this afternoon, said Officer-in-Charge of Chunarughat Thana Ali Ashraf.
