Customs officials detained a man with 5.2 kilogrammes of gold worth Tk 3.12 crore at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Saturday (July 25).
Dhaka Customs House Assistant Commissioner Solaiman Hossain detained Ismail Hossain Sarkar with the gold.
Sarkar arrived from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with the gold hidden inside his bag.
