Man killed in gunfight between ARSA, RSO in Rohingya camp

A 35-year-old man was killed in a gunfight between two groups at H/32 block of Ukhiya Rohingya refugee camp-10 in Cox's Bazar early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Bashir Ullah, son of Faju Mia, of Ukhiya Rohingya refugee camp-10.

Ukhiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Mohammad Ali said that a gunfight broke out between ARSA (Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army) and RSO (Rohingya Solidarity Organization) terrorist groups around 4am on Tuesday.

At the time, Bashir Ullah was shot in the head and he died on the spot, the OC said, adding that the body was sent to Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
