A man was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Hanif flyover in Wari police station area of the capital on Friday.
The identity of the victim, aged approximately 60, could not be known yet.
An unknown vehicle hit on the flyover around 2:30 pm, leaving him seriously injured.
Later, passers-by rescued him and took him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at 2:50 pm.
Md Bachchu Mia, inspector-in-charge of DMCH Police outpost, said the body was kept at the hospital morgue for post-mortem.
The matter has been informed to the concerned police station, added Bachchu Mia.
