Marico Bangladesh Ltd has donated hand sanitizers worth around Tk 9 lakh to Bangladesh Police who are working relentlessly as frontline fighters against the Covid-19 pandemic, said a press release of the company.
A delegation of Marico handed over 52 cartons of Mediker SafeLife hand sanitizers to the officials at Bangladesh Police and Dhaka Metropolitan Police headquarters in the capital on Tuesday.
"We are all going through a difficult time. At this time, each of us should extend a helping hand from our respective places. Through our joint efforts, we can succeed in fighting this epidemic," said Ashish Goupal, Managing Director of Marico Bangladesh.
Members of Bangladesh Police are working tirelessly by risking their own health; so we have to be proactive in safeguarding their health, he added.
Marico Bangladesh Ltd will do its level best for the welfare of the country, Ashish Goupal said further.

Earlier in 2020, Marico Bangladesh donated Rs 50 lakh (around Tk 5,619,659) to the Prime Minister's relief fund to combat the coronavirus outbreak.
