The maritime ports have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number three as clouds formed over North Bay of Bengal.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to come closer to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice, Met Office said in a bulletin on Wednesday.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind are likely to occur in most parts of the country with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country under the impact of the deep convection, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said.
