Former law minister Abdul Matin Khasru, also the president of Supreme Court Bar Association, was put on life support at Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Khasru’s personal secretary M Mohsin Mia said that the former minister was put on life support around 11:00am after his condition further deteriorated.
Khasru tested COVID-19 positive on March 16 was admitted to the hospital. On March 25, he was taken to the intensive care unit and his condition got improved by March 31.
He was tested COVID-19 negative on April 1 but suddenly his condition deteriorated again and he was taken back to the ICU.
