President of Mauritius Prithvirajsing Roopun has arrived in Dhaka on a four-day official visit.
Accompanied by his wife Soyukta Rupana, the Mauritian president came to Dhaka to attend the Indian Ocean Conference (IOC).
They landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:40 am on Thursday.
Apart from attending the IOC conference, Prithvirajsing Roopun will also pay a courtesy call on President Md Shahabuddin.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed are scheduled to pay a courtesy call on him.
He has no separate meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. However, he will attend the dinner hosted by the prime minister for the guests attending the IOC conference.
