Rapid Action Battalion on Tuesday arrested Tarekul Islam Tarek (28), another accused in a case filed over the gang-rape of a woman on Friday at Murari Chand (MC) College in Sylhet.
He was arrested from Derai upazila in Sunamganj at around 6:30pm on Tuesday.
RAB-9 Media Officer ASP Obain Rakhaine confirmed the matter to media.
With Tarek's arrest, all six accused have nowbeen arrested along with two other unnamed accused in the case.
Earlier on Friday night the husband of the victim filed the case on Friday night with Shah Poran Police Station accusing Saifur Rahman (28), Shah Mahbubur Rahman Roni (25), Arjun Lasker (25), Mahfuzur Rahman Masum (25), Tarek Ahmed (28), Robiul Islam (25), and 2-3 unnamed men.
