Gonoshasthaya Kendra today at a press release said news earlier published on different media, stating that the organisation will begin Covid-19 tests with its kit, did not highlight the full information.
The release said Covid-19 tests with Gonoshasthaya kit is a part of research and not service.
The organisation said it will begin Covid-19 testing with its G-Rapid Dot Blot kit from Tuesday as the part of the clinical trial for the kit's internal validation.
The samples will be collected from 50 patients with Covid-19 symptoms from 10am to 12pm based on their arrival at the Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in the capital and Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar.
