The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday said that a mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the district of Chuadanga, and it may continue.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and northwestern part and light to moderate fog may brew elsewhere over the country from midnight to Wednesday morning, read a BMD bulletin.
Weather may remain dry with a momentary and partly cloudy sky over the country. However, night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature Tuesday was 7.6 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi in Rajshahi.
