Mild cold wave may abate from Panchagarh

The existing mild cold wave sweeping over the districts of Panchagarh and Moulavibazar may abate, according to a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during late night to morning," said the bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing from 9am Sunday.

Night and day temperatures may rise slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 29.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while Sunday's minimum temperature of 7.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:51pm Sunday and rises at 6:34am Monday in the capital.
