A mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna and Barishal divisions and the regions of Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, according to the met office release here on Wednesday.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 39.3 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was 18.2 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
Today’s sunset at 06.12pm and tomorrow’s sunrise at 5.58am at Dhaka.
