A mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Barishal and Chattogram divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jashore, Kushtia and it may abate from some places.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky over the country, according to a Met office release here today.
Day temperature may fall by (1-2) degree Celsius over Barishal and Chattogram divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
Night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 38.5 degree Celsius jointly at Sitakunda and Rangamati and the minimum temperature today was recorded at 15.3 degree Celsius at Srimangal.
