A mild earthquake jolted Dhaka and several northern districts including Rajshahi, Rangpur and Panchagarh on Monday night.
Tremors were also felt in Dinajpur, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat and Joypurhat.
The quake occurred at 9:19pm, measuring 5.6 on the Richter Scale, had its epicentre in India’s Sikkim.
However, there were no immediate reports of casualties.
