Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has urged officials of his ministry to work with efficiency and honesty in maintaining quality of their services.
He said that, in order to make advancement in the competitive world, there is no alternative to improving the quality of services.
The minister was speaking at a programme on annual performance agreement signing and integrity prize distribution at the secretariat in the capital on Monday.
The minister said that the world has entered the digital age and various activities have become easier due to digitization.
Tipu Munshi said that, he believes, all the ministry and departments under it are rendering their services maintaining their reputation.
The prizes given will inspire government service holders in the future and that the country will turn into a developed one by 2041, said the minister.
He urged everyone to work together in attaining the government’s aim for further development of the country.
Commerce secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh also spoke on the occasion.
