“We have to prioritize Chattogram for the development of the country," he said, adding that Bangladesh was lucky to have the Chattogram Port.
Many countries have ports, he added, but not all of them are as important as Chattogram Port.
Stating that China has given 13 lakh LED bulbs to Bangladesh, the minister also said “We are grateful to China for their friendly assistance.”
“We want that the whole country should be illuminated, and consider Chattogram, Rangpur and Noakhali same," Islam added.
