Photojournalist Shafiqul Islam Kajol, who was missing for about three months, has been found at Benapole in Jashore.
Confirming the matter, his son Manorom Palak told The Business Post Kajol called them from Benapole Port Police Station at 2.48 am Saturday night and said he was doing fine.
Family members will go to Benapole to bring Kajol back, Palak added.
Obaidur Rahman, a duty officer at Benapole Police Station, said Kajol was detained by the members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and was handed over to the police station. Police took him in their custody.
On March 8, Shafiqul Islam Kajol disappeared from in front of his Hatirpool office. His family filed an abduction case later.
