Fifteen more patients died at the Covid unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning, according to the district's health officials.
“Of the deceased, seven were Covid-19 positive while eight others died with Covid-like-symptoms,” said Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, spokesperson of Covid unit of MMCH.
Among the fatalities, twelve were from Mymensingh, two from Netrokona and one from Tangail.
A total of 411 patients are now undergoing treatment against 230 beds while 21 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, he added.
Meanwhile, 1,055 samples were tested untill Tuesday morning and 188 people were identified as Covid positive.
