The 4G service of mobile internet has been disrupted across the country.

Broadband internet service, and also the 2G service for mobile internet (with less bandwidth) are available.

The Business Post found the information while talking to mobile internet users.

Users have complained that they are unable to use the internet on their mobile phones. They were unable to access Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and various websites.

Seeking anonymity a banker said that he was trying to listen to songs when he was walking early in the morning, but could not access the internet. Internet speed came down to 2G from 4G.

“I was able to use the internet through my home’s broadband internet connection, but could not use my mobile’s internet” he said.

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) officials were not available while The Business Post tried to reach them for the matter.

The customers complained that the speed of mobile internet suddenly decreased.

Many people are unable to access Facebook and Messenger. One can log back in but cannot post messages or photos on Facebook and Messenger.

They can't even click on other people's posts to see messages or pictures. Not only that, many people are also having trouble finding updated posts on Facebook.
