Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to Tuesday morning, according to the Met office.
A mild cold wave that is sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions along with Chuadanga district may continue, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a 24-hour forecast commencing at 6pm Monday.
The weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, while night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged, it said.
The sun will rise at 6:43am Tuesday in the capital.
