Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over three divisions, at one or two places over other five divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9am Friday.

Country’s highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 36.5 degree Celsius at Tarash upazila in Sirajganj district and Friday's minimum temperature 24.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Bandarban district.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am Friday was recorded 27millimetres (mm) in Rangamati district.
