A mother, miffed by the divorce from her husband, has fled leaving her eight-month-old baby at Shajalal International Airport in the capital Friday.

This disturbing incident of discarding one’s own baby took place at a terminal of the country’s premier airport.

The baby was rescued by a member of airport armed police battalion.

The additional super of APBN confirmed the matter to the press.

Later the baby was fed milk which was brought from APBN mess. Policemen are searching for its mother of the hapless baby.

One of the co-passengers of that lady said, “I asked her where did she come from?”

In reply she said, “I was a returnee migrant worker from Saudi Arabia where she got married,” She burst into tears while telling all about the sad incidents that befell her.

Alamgir Hossain additional super of APBN also said that the aggrieved mother is being hunted with the help of the footage of CCTV footage. If she is unfound, her information will be handed over to the Immigrants Welfare Desk and BRAC.
