Three motorbike riders died as their vehicle collided head-on with another motorbike in Shahbagh Muhidpur area of Sylhet-Zakiganj Road on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Adil Hossain, 20, Zakaria Ahmed, 21, and Milan Ahmed, 20, of Madarkhal village in Kholachora Union of Zakiganj.
According to the locals, the riders were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two high-speed motorcycles.
They were rushed to the nearby hospital, where the duty doctors declared Adil and Zakaria dead.
Milon was taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Hospital as he was in critical condition. Later, he died around 3 pm at the hospital.
Zakiganj Thana OC Md Javed Masud confirmed the matter to BSS saying that, the bodies have been kept at Sylhet MAG Osmani Hospital morgue for autopsy.
