The driver of a microbus that crushed Mountaineer Reshma to death in capital city over a week back gave his confessional statement before a Dhaka court today.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devdas Chandra Adhikari recorded the confessional statement on Sunday.
Earlier, the investigation officer of the case and also Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mubarak Ali produced Darus Salam before the court. His confession was recorded by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devdas Chandra Adhikari. He was sent to jail afterwards.
On August 7, Reshma Nahar Ratna, 34, a mountaineer and teacher of Ayub Ali Govt Primary School, was killed after a micro-bus hit her bicycle on Sher-e-Bangla Nagar lake road.
On being taken to a hospital, doctors declared her dead.
