Movement of vessels to Saint Martin’s suspended

The Teknaf upazila administration has suspended movement of tourist vessels between Teknaf and Saint Martin’s Island on Saturday evening following the Meteorological Department issued warning signal 3 after Cyclone Zawad intensified in the Bay of Bengal. 

Cox’s Bazar Additional Deputy Commissioner Al Amin Parvez confirmed the matter.  

He said all the vessels those went to Saint Martin’s are coming back on Saturday and no vessels will leave Teknaf and Chattogram for Saint Martin’s from Monday until the weather improves.
