Ruling Awami League lawmaker for reserved seat Ferdosi Islam has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
The Chapainawabganj lawmaker confirmed the matter herself over phone on Friday.
She submitted her samples at Sansad Bhaban Medical Center on June 23 and on the next day the report confirmed her infection, she said.
Currently, she is taking treatment from home isolation at her NAM Bhavan house in Dhaka.
On Thursday, samples of her family members were collected for the Covid-19 tests, the MP said.
