Gono Forum lawmaker from Sylhet-2 constituency Mokabbir Khan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Kayes Mia, the personal assistant of Mokabbir Khan, said, “His test result for Covid-19 came positive this afternoon.”
Mokabbir Khan was elected MP from Sylhet-2 constituency in the last general election.
He took oath as a member of the 11th Parliamenton April, 2019.
He was admitted to hospital with breathing problems yesterday.
