The government has formed three probe committees to investigate the reasons behind the fire incident at Sejan Juice factory at Rupganj in Narayanganj.
At least 52 persons have so far been killed in the fire that broke out in the factory on Thursday afternoon.
“Apart from district administration probe committee, two more committees have also been formed,” said an official release on Friday.
Other two committees have been formed with Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence and the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments.
“The elite force Rapid Action Batallion will assist these three probe committees. The real criminals will be identified through the investigation by these three probe bodies,” Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Director General (DG) of RAB, told the reporters after visiting the spot.
