A fire that broke out at the Automation Knitwear Ltd in the Fatullah area of Narayanganj on Monday afternoon has been brought under control.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
The fire erupted at the fourth floor of the five-storey building, said the media cell of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Being informed at 4:44pm, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 6:25pm, it added.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
