The Bangladesh Navy on Tuesday provided medical and food aid to 500 families living on St Martin’s Island.
Navy personnel of the warship, Samudra Jay, distributed free medicine and medical services among poor families at the Islamic High School ground, read a press release.
The Bangladesh Navy regularly conducts such activities with the help of the people of St Martin’s Island.
