Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral Md Nazmul Hossain on Tuesday said that Bangladesh Navy will provide assistance to ensure the security of government establishments including Chattogram Port, customs, oil tanker depot, Karnaphuli Tunnel amid the ongoing crisis.
He made this remark while visiting Bangabandhu Tunnel in Chattogram and Chattogram Port.
Nazmul Hossain said, “The ongoing countrywide headwinds cause vandalism and arson attack in government establishments. We are monitoring the security of the Chattogram Port, Karnaphuli Tunnel and providing assistance.”
Chattogram Port Chairman Rear Admiral Md Sohail, NCT Terminal Director Tarafder Ruhul Amin and other senior officials of the port were also present among others.
