The massive fire that broke out at New Super Market in Dhaka on Saturday morning was finally extinguished.
According to the media cell of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD), the fire was doused at around 9am on Sunday.
A total of 31 people, including 25 Fire Service personnel, sustained injuries during their frantic efforts to douse the fire. They were later sent to different hospitals, including Dhaka Medical College Hospital. However, no lives were lost in the fire, the FSCD said.
