A fire that broke out at a book market in the capital’s Nilkhet on Tuesday night, has been brought under control.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
“The fire erupted around 7:45pm,” Rozina Akhter, duty officer at the control room of Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Business Post.
The media cell of the fire service said that the fire originated from the Lovely Hotel and Restaurant located in the market.
Ten firefighting units brought the blaze under control at 8:50pm, it added.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
