Cyber Crime Investigation Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Friday arrested nine members of a fraud gang from Dhaka and Gazipur who allegedly used bKash to cheat.
Deputy Commissioner (media and public relations) of DMP Walid Hossain, confirmed the matter to the media on Saturday in a press briefing at the DMP media centre.
The arrestees are - Md Saiful Islam (22), Md Liton Hossain (23), Md Jubaier Shiekh (22), Md Golam Kibria Mandal (19), Md Imran Mollah (23), Md Shawon Hossain Mandal (18), Minjarul Islam Mollah (23), Md Ashraf Mollah (26), and Sagar Ahmmed (25).
The law enforcers also recovered five mobile phones, a laptop and ten SIM cards from their possession.
